À propos

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.
I started dancing at the age of three, and was quickly intrigued by the living arts. I continued to move, sing, draw and create without having the opportunity to become a professional until 2021, when I entered the contemporary dance training program at cfparts in Geneva. I graduated with a prize in 2023.

Today, I'm looking at the role of dance in our society and the impact it can have. I like to explore the imaginary and the absurd, as well as poetry and the abstract.

I'm fascinated by our ability to move and thus inhabit an image, a position or an intention.
I see interpretation as a hunger that won't shut up, that just wants to be discovered and devoured.

I'm looking more and more at the question of representation and/or denunciation through art, and I'm having fun imagining possible ways of embodying these political subjects through the body and space.
So I'm also in the process of creating and choreographing.

COLORS

Boîte Noire is a co-creation of dance and music.
It is a new and first creation for the Un Soir collective, seeking to mix, play and superimpose dance and music without one being entirely at the disposal of the other.
It features live music performed by Capucine Seuret and contemporary dance by Hakima Sinekli.

Boîte Noire is a piece that revives an inner memory. It touches with its fingertips a past, an erased memory. It draws its inspiration from the world of dreams, childhood and oblivion.

The play tells the story of the emergence of an abandoned world brought to life by two melancholy and absurd characters.
What happens to a memory when it is forgotten? A clumsy attempt to survive, a universe weakened by neglect.
A dissonant body, music that's been played too many times and whose record is getting scratched, all represented by a contemporary performance of dance and live electronic music.

ESQUISSE

‘Esquisse’ is a five minute piece I created as part of the final year of my contemporary dance training at the CFPArts.

Performed at the theatre in St-Gervais, it was selected by the jury for the Fête de la Musique and the Fête de la Danse in Geneva.
